April 8, 2006 PATH staff and volunteers have just returned from Nicaragua, and we are chomping at the bit to share news with you about our most recent work there. PATH programs are improving the lives of horses, supporting orphaned wildlife (ocelots, monkeys and birds, birds, birds) while improving the quality of veterinary care throughout the country. Please watch your mailboxes in the coming days for our April newsletter, which will contain details of program developments and information on how you can help us bring comfort and care to animals in need. PATH's friend Robin Sanders (of CBS News) has asked that I tell you to watch 60 Minutes tomorrow (Sunday, April 9th) to see a heartwarming story of elephant rescue. Please support pro-animal media coverage by both watching CBS's 60 Minutes and by asking your friends and family to also tune-in. Sincerely, Kelly Overton, MPH |
