November 19, 2006 Happy Holidays,Next month PATH will honor an amazing group of people and animals when we announce the recipients of our 2006 Heroes to Animals awards. Thanks to you and our partners we will have brought comfort, care and love to over 5,000 animals by the year's end – as well as educational and vocational opportunities to children and young adults throughout Nicaragua. This holiday season we are asking you to help us bring joy and comfort to a vulnerable child, horse, dog or cat in Nicaragua. PATH’s budget does not allow for the purchase of gifts for the children and animals of Nicaragua this year. We hope you will allow us to bring joy and comfort to the children and animals we serve by including them in your holiday giving. Please consider making a donation today to fund the cost of one of the following gifts...
A stuffed animal or animal-friendly book for a child in Matagalpa.
Food and medicine for a clinic dog or cat in Managua.
A pain-free harness for a working horse in Granada, Managua or Matagalpa.
As always the PATH staff and board will pay all administrative costs - so 100% of your donation goes to providing holiday gifts for the beautiful children and animals of Nicaragua, and remember, your donation is tax-deductible for the 2006 tax year. PATH administrative staff receive no compensation – with the exception of local Nicaraguan employees, PATH is an all-volunteer 501 (c) 3 tax-exempt corporation operating in Nicaragua and the United States of America. Donate here using our secure server PATH is proud to be a member of the New Orleans community. We buy locally and use local services whenever possible!
