People Protecting Animals & Their Habitats-PATH advocates for the humane treatment of all animals, as well as the conservation and protection of areas that are vital to the survival of endangered or threatened species. We accomplish this by providing communities with educational and vocational opportunities that provide realistic and sustainable solutions that both improve the quality of animal’s lives, and stop habitat destruction.

ROBIN BRENNEN, DVM

A real life vet without borders, Dr. Brennen has a passion for animals and for teaching and training less experienced veterinarians (and vet students) that has in 2005 taken her to the Cook Islands, Nicaragua, and a Native American reservation in rural Minnesota.  She spent the last three months of 2005 in post-Katrina Louisiana, ensuring the care of 4,000 animals as director of veterinary services at the Lamar Dixon shelter in the city of Gonzales.  Dr. Brennen’s vision of improving the quality of global veterinary services by working side-by-side with animal professionals in developing countries is improving the lives of animals throughout the world.  Always one to put her money where her mouth is, she spent nearly half of this year working as a volunteer, improving veterinary care in developing areas without a salary.
